Le Vieux Hameau

Le Vieus Hameau ( The Old Hamlet) is an H0e scale narrow gauge layout set in the central area of France towards the west. It is operation in the period around the late 1950's to early 1960's during the period when 'chemin de fer secondaire' (A light railway built at lower costs and to lower standards) werein an underfunded and neglected period of decline. However, the line does have a hope as a local millionaire has proposed to invest in it as a preservation line catering for the tourist trade.
